Engagement Pics-Part Two!

One beautiful fall day last month, we ventured out to Berry College to have some more engagement pictures taken. These are some of my favorite pics, that my sweet friend Beth took for us. She is awesome!!

Thanksgiving...

I heart Thanksgiving...it is one of my most favorite times of the year!! I love spending time with family, making (and eating!) good food and just having fun. We started the Thanksgiving festivities on Wednesday with the Cagle crew, then today had dinner with my daddy and family and then tomorrow we are having my mom's side of the family at my house(which means i have been cleaning like a mad woman-ha!). We are then ending it all with a bang, spending time w/ friends on Saturday-Good Times!

Here are just a few of the many many things i am thankful for...

*My momma-hands down i have the best mom. She is the most selfless person i know, and has sacrificed so many things for me and my little brother. I hope i am half the mom that she is one day! LOVE HER!

*My daddy-he is the sweetest! He goes out of his way to do things for us-and is always here for me! LOVE HIM!

*Bo-i totally heart this boy. He is my world. LOVE HIM! I am looking forward to being his wife more than anything-and i can't hardly believe this is my last Thanksgiving as a "single" woman-next year we will be married-woot! I love you babe-thank you for just simply being you.

*Dustin-my goofy little brother-as aggravating as he can be sometimes, i can't imagine life without him. I am also thankful for his sweet girlfriend Dawn-she is so good to him and they are sweet together! Love you guys!

*My job-i am so lucky to have a job that i truly enjoy. My bank family is the best and i couldn't ask for a better place to work. I am truly blessed to have a great job!

*My friends-i have the most awesome friends-you guys rock!!!

*Diana, Austin and Teja- My best friend and her sweet babies-I miss you guys more than ever!! Please come home! :o)~

We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who have gone out of their way to help us plan our special day. I am blown away by the offers to help, the beautiful engagement pictures we have from Chi and from Beth-they both took AWESOME pictures-LOVE THEM!!
And most of all- the kind special words of encourgement that have been offered up. I truly appreciate them all!!



We couldn't do this without all the wonderful people in our lives and we love EVERY ONE OF YOU!!

Happy Halloween!! ( better late than never!)

My how time flies....this is a pic of us two years ago-on our first Halloween together. We had gone w/ my best friend Diana and her husband Bronze and their sweet babies Teja and Austin Trick or Treating...

What a fun night!! We had a blast!! I miss Diana and the kids more than ever-now that they are in Tennessee i don't get to see them much-love you guys!!

Perfectly Wonderful

Tonight was one of those perfectly wonderful evenings! Bo picked me up from work, and we decided to go to the local pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. We went and found the cutest little round pumpkin, and several small pumpkins to decorate around the house with.

We then headed to eat YUMMY Mexican at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants-El Alazan out in Silver Creek-YUM-O!! Then home to carve our pumpkin. It was laid back, and simple and perfectly wonderful and i had a blast!!

And here is our pumpkin masterpiece in the making-ha ha!

Happy Birthday Honey!!!

Today is Bo's 36th Birthday!! Whew-getting on up there babe-haha! You are just getting better with age, and I love you very, very much!!! I hope you have a birthday that is as FANTASTIC as you are!!

Charleston, Family and Fun!!

We spent this past weekend in Charleston w/ some of my family. My sister Chi and her sweet family were gracious enough to let us stay w/ them. We had a blast!! Friday we piddled around on the beach for a little while, and then rode around until everybody got off of work. We then enjoyed a nice dinner w/ Chi, John, Lily and Ryan @ The Noisy Oyster-YUM-O!

Saturday morning, we got up, and drove to Folly Beach where Chi took some engagement pictures of us (check her out-www.childcreations.com) she takes wonderful pictures!!! We then were treated to a great lunch @ California Dreamin' overlooking the river. Saturday afternoon was spent w/ our Brother Larry, his fiance Liz and their sweet little boy Camerun. We all hung out, and watched the GA vs. LSU game and ate Spaghetti.

Sunday we got up, and spent a little more time with everybody and then headed home. We loved Charleston and had a blast spending time with everybody. I already can't wait to go back!!

Girls Night

This past Saturday we had a girl's night at Mandi's house. I have a great group of friends from high school and we try to get together every couple of months for birthday's etc...

These girls are wonderful and we always have such a blast when we get together!!

These sweet girls are my bridesmaid's and flower girl...they each play a special part in my life and i love them dearly!!

This is my best friend Diana, she is also Teja's mom. She has moved to Tennessee and i love and miss her dearly!! She is such an awesome friend and i am so lucky to count her as my bestest!

This is my best friend of many, many years Vanessa. She is the SWEETEST!!! We don't get to see each other as much, due to life, kids, work etc....but when we do get together it is like we never missed a beat!! I am truly blessed to call her a friend!

This is lil miss sweet stuff Teja-she is my best friend's little girl and she is my angel!! LOVE HER!! It is very special to me to have her in my wedding as my flower girl.

How Sweet it is....to be loved by you!

Last night on a whim i left Bo a sweet note by his things that he would get as he was leaving this morning (he has to be at work an hour earlier than i do) and then headed to bed...

This morning i got up and was piddling around the kitchen when i looked over and saw he had left me one back....it made my day! It truly is the simple things that mean the most!

I know, I know...I'm such a mush!! But it is my blog...and ill be mushy if i want to! :o) I'm off now to enjoy the fruits of my labor (homemade chicken and dumplings-YUM!) and watch some great shows that are finally back TV w/ my honey!!

I can't believe in four days we will have been together two years-sometimes it seems like yesterday and then others it seems like forever. I can't imagine my life without you.

The Molly Grubs

Ever had one of those days??? Or more like one of those weekends??? This weekend has been an emotional roller coaster for various reasons and I can't say I'm sorry to see it go!! My sleeping has been out of sorts therefore I am exhausted because I can't sleep which leads me to take a nap and then the whole vicious cycle starts all over again...BOO! Anyways...to sum it up I guess I have just had a case of The Molly Grubs...ya know...down and out and just plain ole don't feel good!!

There was one bright shining spot in my weekend-I got to spend time on Saturday night with some of my most favorite girls and we had a girls night @ Mandi's house in Cartersville (loved your house Mandi!) I totally heart these girls and spending time w/ them is few and far between so it was nice and exactly what I needed!!!! Hope to have some pictures to post soon!!

So to say the least...here's hoping tomorrow brings the start of a GREAT week!!!

The meeting w/ the caterer went wonderful and I really liked all of her wonderful ideas-so we shall see...we have one more lead to check out before we make a final decision.

Reception Details...

Tonight I am meeting my mom and we are going to meet w/ a potential caterer for the wedding. I am looking forward to seeing what she has to say-because not only will she do the food-she will do the linens, centerpieces etc for the wedding reception and possibly help us w/ decorations for the church....so slowly but surely little details are falling into place. Woot!

Since we are keeping the wedding "simple southern" I had wanted to serve BBQ, potato salad, baked beans, slaw and corn- YUM-O! But it all boils down to money-so if that ends up being too expensive-we are thinking heavy snack like foods such as chicken salad w/ croissants, pimento cheese sandwiches, fruit and veggies, Swedish meatballs, and things like that.

One of my most favorite things I am looking forward to is my "Candy Bar" Those who know me know that my love of candy runs deep-haha! So we are going to have a table set up w/ all kind of yummies in fun funky colors-I can't wait! So if anybody has any ideas of candy that is orange or pink let me know-I would love to hear some ideas!

As soon as I can figure it out-I will post a pic of my bridesmaid dresses-they are BEAUTIFUL and I love them!

My Little Family

Since they are such a major part of our lives...I thought I would introduce you to my babies...

Teddy was my baby before we got together, he is my Chihuahua/Terrier mix and to say he is spoiled rotten is putting it mildly. He has the mentality of a "big dog" trapped in a little dog's body, is a total "momma's boy" and he pretty much rules the roost around here...

Otis was Bo's spoiled rotten Pug. He is about as defiant/hardheaded as they come and loves his daddy more than anything in this world. He is a sweetheart and a total pushover when it comes to the other dogs, he lets them run all over him! I will admit though...that sweet little mush mouth face gets me EVERY time.

Talia was our first dog "together". A friend of mine needed to find her another home, and she was just too cute to pass up. She is a Corgi Beagle mix and the sweetest lil lovey ever!! She is by far our most "low maintenance" dog. Since Bella has come into the picture they are two peas in a pod-and they are each other's best friend!

And last but certainly not least is our baby Bella. She is a Yorkie with a personality all her own. She is a sweet baby girl that runs wide open all the time. She loves her mommy and daddy...but she loves her Talia. They play so well together and Bella simply adores her!

We definitely have a wide range of personalities when it comes to our dogs, and I wouldn't have it any other way! They make our world a much better place and we love them to pieces.
