Girls Night

This past Saturday we had a girl's night at Mandi's house. I have a great group of friends from high school and we try to get together every couple of months for birthday's etc...

These girls are wonderful and we always have such a blast when we get together!!

I Heart these girls!!

These sweet girls are my bridesmaid's and flower girl...they each play a special part in my life and i love them dearly!!

This is my best friend Diana, she is also Teja's mom. She has moved to Tennessee and i love and miss her dearly!! She is such an awesome friend and i am so lucky to count her as my bestest!

This is my best friend of many, many years Vanessa. She is the SWEETEST!!! We don't get to see each other as much, due to life, kids, work etc....but when we do get together it is like we never missed a beat!! I am truly blessed to call her a friend!

This is lil miss sweet stuff Teja-she is my best friend's little girl and she is my angel!! LOVE HER!! It is very special to me to have her in my wedding as my flower girl.

I have the best mom-hands down!! I truly am a lucky girl to be blessed with such a wonderful mom!!

How Sweet it is....to be loved by you!

Last night on a whim i left Bo a sweet note by his things that he would get as he was leaving this morning (he has to be at work an hour earlier than i do) and then headed to bed...

This morning i got up and was piddling around the kitchen when i looked over and saw he had left me one back....it made my day! It truly is the simple things that mean the most!

I know, I know...I'm such a mush!! But it is my blog...and ill be mushy if i want to! :o) I'm off now to enjoy the fruits of my labor (homemade chicken and dumplings-YUM!) and watch some great shows that are finally back TV w/ my honey!!

I can't believe in four days we will have been together two years-sometimes it seems like yesterday and then others it seems like forever. I can't imagine my life without you.

The Molly Grubs

Ever had one of those days??? Or more like one of those weekends??? This weekend has been an emotional roller coaster for various reasons and I can't say I'm sorry to see it go!! My sleeping has been out of sorts therefore I am exhausted because I can't sleep which leads me to take a nap and then the whole vicious cycle starts all over again...BOO! Anyways...to sum it up I guess I have just had a case of The Molly Grubs...ya know...down and out and just plain ole don't feel good!!

There was one bright shining spot in my weekend-I got to spend time on Saturday night with some of my most favorite girls and we had a girls night @ Mandi's house in Cartersville (loved your house Mandi!) I totally heart these girls and spending time w/ them is few and far between so it was nice and exactly what I needed!!!! Hope to have some pictures to post soon!!

So to say the least...here's hoping tomorrow brings the start of a GREAT week!!!

The meeting w/ the caterer went wonderful and I really liked all of her wonderful ideas-so we shall see...we have one more lead to check out before we make a final decision.

Reception Details...

Tonight I am meeting my mom and we are going to meet w/ a potential caterer for the wedding. I am looking forward to seeing what she has to say-because not only will she do the food-she will do the linens, centerpieces etc for the wedding reception and possibly help us w/ decorations for the church....so slowly but surely little details are falling into place. Woot!

Since we are keeping the wedding "simple southern" I had wanted to serve BBQ, potato salad, baked beans, slaw and corn- YUM-O! But it all boils down to money-so if that ends up being too expensive-we are thinking heavy snack like foods such as chicken salad w/ croissants, pimento cheese sandwiches, fruit and veggies, Swedish meatballs, and things like that.

One of my most favorite things I am looking forward to is my "Candy Bar" Those who know me know that my love of candy runs deep-haha! So we are going to have a table set up w/ all kind of yummies in fun funky colors-I can't wait! So if anybody has any ideas of candy that is orange or pink let me know-I would love to hear some ideas!

As soon as I can figure it out-I will post a pic of my bridesmaid dresses-they are BEAUTIFUL and I love them!

My Little Family

Since they are such a major part of our lives...I thought I would introduce you to my babies...

Teddy was my baby before we got together, he is my Chihuahua/Terrier mix and to say he is spoiled rotten is putting it mildly. He has the mentality of a "big dog" trapped in a little dog's body, is a total "momma's boy" and he pretty much rules the roost around here...

Otis was Bo's spoiled rotten Pug. He is about as defiant/hardheaded as they come and loves his daddy more than anything in this world. He is a sweetheart and a total pushover when it comes to the other dogs, he lets them run all over him! I will admit though...that sweet little mush mouth face gets me EVERY time.

Talia was our first dog "together". A friend of mine needed to find her another home, and she was just too cute to pass up. She is a Corgi Beagle mix and the sweetest lil lovey ever!! She is by far our most "low maintenance" dog. Since Bella has come into the picture they are two peas in a pod-and they are each other's best friend!

And last but certainly not least is our baby Bella. She is a Yorkie with a personality all her own. She is a sweet baby girl that runs wide open all the time. She loves her mommy and daddy...but she loves her Talia. They play so well together and Bella simply adores her!

We definitely have a wide range of personalities when it comes to our dogs, and I wouldn't have it any other way! They make our world a much better place and we love them to pieces.

In the Beginning...

Since I will be writing about all things wedding related... I thought I would dedicate a post to how it all started...


Bo and I have been together just shy of two years(woohoo honey!) I pretty much knew from the beginning that I was gonna marry this boy!! I mean whats not to love...he has the sweetest heart, drop dead gorgeous baby blue eyes, and he was a packaged deal w/ the sweetest little mush faced pug I have ever layed my eyes on...our Otis man!


Two years ago on Sept 24th I walked into an Applebee's to meet a guy I had only talked to on the telephone...fresh on the dating scene, I wasn't sure what to expect. Turns out, it was the start of something wonderful. Sitting at the bar in a red Georgia shirt w/ a hat pulled so far down over his eyes that I could barely see them was the the most handsome man....from that day on I have been smitten w/ my blue eyed freckled face honey-and I love every minute of it!



We got engaged on May 8th 2009, and have since been planning our sweet little wedding. We initially were shoooting for October 2010, but have since moved it up to April 24th 2010 (I know..what on earth were we thinking-ha!) The date is quickly approaching w/ 7 months to go. We have booked the venue, we are getting married in the Old Cave Spring Baptist Church in Rolater Park, and having the reception at The Hearn Academy! We are having a good ol fashion southern wedding, and I am having a blast planning every minute of it! Our colors are Watermelon and Tangerine (fancy way of saying hot pink and orange-haha!) and I have decided on my bridesmaid dresses-they are lovely! And dare I say... I think I might have even found my dress...


Our wedding party consists of some of our closest friends. We are eaching having two attendants-mine are my best friend from high school Vanessa and my best friend Diana. Bo's guys are two of his best friends Jimmy and Jamie. Rounding out the wedding party is Teja my sweet niece who will be my flower girl, and Peyton the cutest lil red head ever that will be our ring bearer. We are truly lucky to have such wondeful people be a part of our day!

Computer Savy...not so much!

BOO!!! i am FRUSTRATED!! I need help figuring out how to change my header etc on the blog...evidently i am so not computer savy....haha...if anybody has any ideas i would love to hear them!

Taking the plunge....

Well i finally took the plunge and entered the blogging world. I love to look around and read blogs and i thought this would be a neat way for family and friends to keep up with wedding plans and all the happenings around the Cagle household.
